Overview
Quartz is a goal-driven scheduling tool currently in beta. We collect only what we need to make the product work, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it to train AI models. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Account information. Authentication is handled by Clerk. When you sign up, Clerk collects your email address and manages your credentials. Quartz receives a user identifier and email to associate your data with your account. We do not store passwords.
Calendar and goal data. Any events, goals, and scheduling information you create inside Quartz is stored on our servers so it persists across sessions and devices. This data is yours and is used only to provide the service.
Analytics. We collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, feature interactions, session duration) to understand how the product is used and where to improve it. This data is not linked to your identity.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your calendar or goal data to train AI models.
- We do not serve advertising.
- We do not share identifiable data with anyone except where required by law.
Storage and security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Quartz is in closed beta, which means security practices are under active review. We will disclose any breach that affects your personal data promptly.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact page.
Cookies
Quartz uses session cookies for authentication (managed by Clerk) and a small number of preference cookies (theme, mode) stored locally in your browser. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
